Covington is located north of Mandeville at a fork of the Bogue Falaya River and Tchefuncte River. This city was named after a war hero in the 1812 War, General Leonard Covington. You will find year round festivals, Mardi Gras parades, and a thriving art community here. The local Abita Brew Pub offers a tour where one can sample the different types of ale they brew. Covington provides its residents with an affordable cost of living and a laid-back lifestyle.
